OFFICE is proud to present ffoR. A brand new style concept developed independently for the fashion savvy male.

ffoR follows a simple formula; premium + design = effortless style.

The focus is on quality leather and suede, uncomplicated silhouettes and fine detailing; so that every element is perfect. Inspired by Scandinavian design this range has universal appeal with an original edge. Styles are fashion forward; find Asgard, Elves, Midgard, Odin and Jord.

ffoR is available in two minimal colour options; black and grey, with the exception of the wildcard; the teal Asgard chukka boot. ffoR combines sharply crafted uppers with starkly contrasted coloured soles, giving a flash of colour and a hint of eccentricity, making the range anything but subtle.

here my dear...

Though more subtle than his influence in the musical sphere, this Rock and Roll Hall of Famer's sartorial legacy was also substantial because Gaye was a pioneer to the core. In fact, a variety of what have now come to be thought of as a classic American look can be traced back to this icons wardrobe. All in all, it's safe to say that on the fashion front Gaye could be described as someone who knew “What's Going On” when it came to style.

Where Gaye's personal style really began to shine, however, was when he broke away from Motown Records in the 1970s. In the politically and sexually charged climate of this decade, Gaye's style reached its peak when he began to express himself more, both as an artist and in the fashion arena. This epoch saw the mega star frequently snapped wearing denim on denim, leather jackets lined in shearling (and worn with upturned collars), aviators, and a knitted hat with absolutely everything.

marvin gaye is an inspirational icon who could do smart and casual with exceptional ease. these are some of the otions in store that could live up to that...

Miles of style...

In 1965, the legendary jazz critic and Esquire style writer George Frazier dubbed Miles Davis "The Warlord of the Weejuns" in the liner notes of a greatest hits collection. A hell of a nickname, even if no one knew what it meant.

Nobody played the trumpet like Miles Davis, and nobody dressed like him either. Ever at the forefront of jazz's major developments, he was also a style chameleon constantly changing his colour palletes. Before he got all freaky and avant-garde, Miles spent the late '40s to mid '60s dressed in various iterations of conservative dapperness, from the Brooks Brothers suits he wore at the time of his 1949 recording Birth of the Cool, to the slim European suits he sported for 1963's Seven Steps to Heaven.

There arent many people on this planet coming close to Miles, but you can get somewhere close with the selection of casual shoes from Paul Smith in the A/W10 collection...

new in this week...

Its winter again and everyone has become obssesd with the military vibe. looking like an ageing member of a strokes tribute band!

The M-43 Service Shoe is really what we would call today an ankle boot. It was in fact the standard issue combat boot issued to G-Is, standardised in June 1943. Made from a 'Rough-Out' hide (Rough-Out meaning the hide was turned inside out - leaving the nap side facing outwards, with the top-grain on the inside), the M-43 service shoe superseded the earlier 1939 model service shoe.

The grenson Glen boot...
The new grenson glen boot has been inspired by that of a vintage military feel with a modern spin!
